Dear David,
Hello and Happy September!
Well, tradeshow season is officially upon us and August
was certainly a crazy month with shows, but I absolutely
LOVE it because it's the perfect opportunity to see so
many of YOU. Thanks to everyone who stopped by the Real
Resorts and El Cid Resorts booths at the various shows to
say hello and to get the latest information. One thing
about this business is that it's never boring and things
are always changing, and of course I had lots of exciting
news and fantastic promotions to share with you.

So you'll never guess who I ran into when I was in
Whitehorse last week. The
Prime Minister of Canada!!! He was staying at my
hotel and I met him in the lobby. How exciting, eh? No
matter what your political views are, it is definitely an
honour and a thrill to meet the Prime Minster of Canada.
I did get my picture taken with him but unfortunately the
PM's office hasn't emailed me the picture yet so maybe
I'll include it next month.
Anywho... I do have a Dixie update for you. You may
remember that last month I was complaining that I was
having no luck training Dixie to shake a paw.
Remember? I had been trying for months and months with
zero results. Well, Dixie went up to my parents place in
Kamloops (while I was on the road) and my Mom actually
taught her to shake a paw in LESS THAN A WEEK!!! I
couldn't believe it. Obviously it was the trainer and not
the trainee! My Mom is a retired school teacher so maybe
that had something to do with her success with Dixie. You
can see it for yourself
