Dear Dave,
How are you
doing? Here it is June already, what are your plans for
the summer? Doing anything fun??? Do tell...
All is good
here. May was a busy month for me out doing sales calls,
which of course is one of the things I love most about my
job. Oh, I did celebrate an anniversary last month. It's
been 13 years since my FAM FROM HELL. Did I ever tell you
about that one?
It was back
in the day when I was a travel agent and I was on a FAM
trip in Asia that included a 6 day cruise from Singapore
to Phuket. I remember I was really excited because it was
my first-ever cruise!! Well, to make a long story short,
there was a fire onboard the ship and the ship sunk.
I was
living in Edmonton at the time and it was big news. Click

fame, but please keep in mind the camera adds 10lbs (and
yes, there was only ONE camera on me LOL) and this was
1999 before I discovered eyebrow waxing. We've come along
way baby!
So the part
that always cracks me up is when the anchor reads
"Marsh said that besides the ship sinking everything else
was great". What can I say, I'm a glass half-full
kinda guy. Actually truth be told, I was worried that the
whole fiasco was going to negatively affect my cruise
sales!!! It was all about the sales and I was on a
quota!!! HAHA
Anyways, I
can joke about it now because everyone survived and for
the most part we've all put it behind us. But once a year,
every May 20th...I always take time and think about my FAM
from hell!
And BTW,
that's another reason to book Real Resorts, Honua Kai and

any sinkings!! Just say'n. :)

Dogs of New Westminster
The city
of New Westminster (suburb of Vancouver) where we live
recently invited residents to submit photos of their
pooches to be used to wrap electrical/utility boxes in a
couple key locations around town.
Dave
submitted one of his pics of Dixie and as you can see
(if you look closely), she made the cut. We are so proud
but hopefully this new-found fame won't go to Dixie's
head. :)
