New Year and a New Look.
So the world didn't come to an end so there goes
the idea of me getting a break from writing the
newsletter for January. I thought the apocalypse
was the perfect excuse for writers-block LOL
So anywho...
A
few weeks ago Real Resorts and WestJet hosted a
FAM trip for Canadian agents. We had 37 agents
from all across Canada (coast to coast) on the
trip and we spent 7 sun-soaked days in beautiful
Cancun and Riviera Maya. It was an amazing group
and some great friendships were made.

Melissa Wallace (WestJet Sales Representative -
Southern & Northern Ontario) joined us on the
FAM. Melissa and I have kown each other for a
couple of years and have done joint sales calls
together. I've always loved Melissa, and maybe
it was the romance inspired by Real Resorts or
perhaps it was the premium liquors...we might've
got slightly carried away??
I've always said that Real Resorts and WestJet
made a great partnership, but MARRIAGE???
Actually, part of the FAM included a Mock
Wedding and Melissa and I couldn't resist posing
for some "wedding photos". But if you feel
inclined to send wedding gifts to the happy
couple we are registered at WestJet.com. :) LOL

Dave was recently in Northern California and
by accident he found a restaurant close to
his hotel called "Mazatlan Grill". He was
craving some Mazatlan Cocount Shirmp so he
had to check it out. You know that Mazatlan
is the shrimp capital of the world, right?
If you like shrimp (and who doesn't?) you
must try the famous Coconut Shrimp at El Cid
Resorts. Dave said his entree was good but
not nearly as delicious as the Coconut
Shrimp they serve at El Cid Resorts in
Mazatlan. It might be time to book a flight.

I love it when I walk into an office and hear
how much agents love the

Honua Kai
My cousin Kyla, (and her husband Allen and
their son Mason) travelled to
Honua Kai Resort & Spa a
couple of months ago and I asked if they
would mind writing a review that I could
share in the newsletter...
When we
first decided we were going to Maui we did
lots of homework and read a lot of reviews
and talked to a lot of people. We found
with Honua Kai everyone we talked to had
awesome experiences and great things to
say about it. We also found the price was
very competitive when it came to a 5 star
resort.
We arrived at Honua Kai at about
midnight, and as we pulled up in the
rental car we were already in "awe" at the
sight of the resort and how beautiful the
grounds were (we definitely knew this was
the nicest resort we'd ever stayed at).
When we got up to our room we were very
impressed at how stunning the room was
from the granite countertops to the
massive bathroom with soaker tub and
separate shower.
"Dukes" the restaurant on the property
was excellent and all the staff were very
friendly. The only thing is to make sure
you make reservations because it fills up.
As the
days passed we realized one of our
favorite things about the resort was how
kid friendly it was. Our son who was 16
months was in love with the kiddie pool
and he was so proud that he could climb in
and out of the pool by himself.
In the future we would for sure stay
at Honua Kai again and can't say enough
positive stuff about it. We look forward
to our next visit!
