My job, as a BDM/Sales Manager/Rep,
is to work with our travel agent
partners. I’ve worked with you for
over 15 years now, and here are a
few tips I’d love to pass along to
my travel agent friends.
1. REWARDS: As
one of my favourite BDM’s reminds
you regularly, “Report
your bookings!” Most
suppliers have agent rewards
programs, but you have to take the
few minutes to register your
bookings to reap the rewards. Both
of my accounts have great rewards
programs that I remind you about
regularly.

2. KRYSTAL
KASH: Krystal
Resorts has the KRYSTAL KASH Agent
Incentive program which provides
egift cards for each booking. You
can register your bookings months in
advance, but only have 7 days
post-check out to register them, for
your $25 egift card. You can find

3. SPECIAL
REQUESTS: I
get special requests on future
bookings from agents daily. Of
course, I’d remind you to send those
to your tour operator you booked
with first. I’m also happy to pass
along the reasonable requests to the
property team to note (no
guarantees). ONLY if you provide ALL
of the booking details (guests
names, property, dates, TO booking
number, etc.) You’d be surprised how
many requests I get with incomplete
or almost no details.
