So, are you a "New
Year's Resolution"
person or not? We
checked with our
friends, and it was
about 60-40 against
making New Year's
resolutions.
Regardless, for the 4th
year in a row, I did set
a weekly step goal
resolution. I've
actually succeeded in
carrying out my
resolution for the past
3 years, so I know it's
doable.
We spent Christmas in
one of our favourite
places... Palm Springs,
with good friends. It
wasn't warm, but we did
enjoy some sun!
I hope you spend the
holidays with some of your
favourite people! Happy

the hotel itself and the
grounds are absolutely
stunning. The food is is
some of the best food I have
ever had at an all inclusive
- definitely 5 star. The
service is incredible. I
love all the amenities for
families. Major selling
points are the kids club,
the slide and diving pool at
the Marina El Cid pool, and
also the wading pools for
young children.

properties offers modern
spacious rooms with plenty
of options to meet the needs
of small or large families.
The activities on site are
plentiful. The activities
pool on the Marina side is
just that. After watching
kids and adults alike diving
and jumping into the pool
from on hig, it is sure to
be a hit with many clients.
For a quieter pace you can
use the adults only infinity
pool and hot tubs near the
beach. The food across the
property is very good, also
offering many gluten free
options. The Mercado de
Dolores is a great
experience or lunch. It
offers a food court style
buffet lunch that everyone
can find something. Finish
off at Aroma´s for a coffee
or pastry.

food, great staff. Must
check out all the El Cid

Very new and modern hotel.
Not far from the airport. I
would recommend the property
for wedding groups or family
getaways with kids. Very
good food, service and
evening shows. Greatly for
young kids with kid facility
that is open late.
Restaurant reservations can
be done three days prior to
arrival.

a property I will sell. I
have stayed at El Moro in
Mazatlan and now Ventus at
Puerto Morales. It is one of
the prettiest, most luscious
resorts I have seen. The
landscaping at the Marina
section was impeccable -
there were countess species
of flora. I was overwhelmed
by the shades of green and
the variety of colours in
the flora as well as the
degree of detail put into
the planning of the grounds
of this resort. I would
definitely recommend the
upgrade to Platinum Club!
This is a fantastic option
for families and couples.
There are three great pool
options one being
adult-only.
