I was looking back at some of my
previous newsletters, and over 6
years ago, I had one entitled Dave’s
Travel Tips. It was a long list of
travel tips from when I was
traveling by air for business and
personal trips monthly. Now the
former irritations of frequent
business travel seem like a vague
memory, but I’ll still share with
you a few of my favourite tips.

WEAR SLIP-ON SHOES: As
it makes it easier going through
security |

WALK AT THE AIRPORT: It
is tempting to sit down at your gate
when you are through security, but I
try to walk the length of the
terminal if I have time before my
flight. I certainly can't walk much
on the flight. |
|
SITTING DOWN QUICKLY: Have
a light, fabric grocery bag packed
in your carry-on. At the gate, I put
my ear phones, neck pillow, iPad,
water bottle, sweater/light
sweatshirt in it. When I get to my
seat, I can easily and quickly put
my carry-on in the over head bin,
while throwing the light bag in my
seat, with everything I may need for
the flight. |
