Watching the Winter Olympics over
the past month, I’ve relived
pleasant memories of attending 2
Olympic games as a happy
tourist: Los Angeles Summer Olympics
1984 and
Vancouver Winter Olympics in 2010.

In addition, traveling to
destinations that have hosted the
Olympics in the past is one of my
bucket list items also. In 1977 I
leaned to ice skate on the 1960
Squaw Valley Olympic skating rink
(that isn’t there anymore).

Watching this Winter Olympics, and
seeing the Bird’s Nest venue,
allowed me relive my trip to Beijing
a few years ago.
