I made some traditional Scottish Shortbread for New Year’s
Eve, to celebrate my Scottish heritage and ring in
2023. Shortbread was an expensive luxury and for ordinary
people in Scotland. It was a special treat reserved just for
special occasions such as weddings, Christmas and New
