Although I love pumpkin spice and
hot apple cider, I’m not a big fan
of Fall. Maybe it is a carry-over
from being a kid, when summer was
sadly over and it was back to
school… In spite of the fact that I
loved school.

beauty of each season. I appreciate
getting up each day and doing the

One of the most frequent questions I
get from agents is: Should we sell
our clients the upgrade to Elite (Mazatlan)
or Platinum (Riviera
Maya) all-inclusive plans?
My answer short is always
Yes. Of course all clients
have budgets to work within, but as
long as you present the adventages
of the upsell programs, you have
done your job..

There are many advantages of the
Elite (Mazatlan) and Platinum
(Riviera Maya) options, but here are
a few of my favourites.
With the Elite
plan at
the El Cid Resorts in Mazatlan,
guests get to check in at the Elite
lounges, have access to the
adults-only pool (El Moro), have a
guaranteed OV, and have full access
to all 4 resorts. They also have no
surcharges on some of the higher end
menu items.

With the Platinum
plan at
the El Cid Resorts in the Riviera
Maya (Puerto Morales), guests get to
check in at the Platinum lounges,
have a guaranteed OV (or sunset view
– Ventus Ha’) room, the best
amenities, daily room aroma therapy
and great butler service.
