I see a lot of agent business cards
that I collect at trade shows and
office visits. I just got done
reviewing a stack of business cards
that I collected in October to make
sure that new agents are getting our
monthly newsletters.

While the larger chains have
standardized business card
templates, many of our independent
or home-based agents do not follow
any standards. Some of their cards
are absolutely horrible to read. The
whole purpose of a business card is
to provide an agent’s name, company
name, phone number and email address
clearly.
|
|
I see so many business cards with
tiny fonts, horrible
(illegible/cursive) fonts, poor
background/font contrast or just
horrible designs. Please make sure
your cards and the required
information is easy to read at a
quick glance. For clients (or us
vendors) with poor vision, these
points are even more critical for
you to do business.
|
|
Of course, the best business cards
are legible and memorable.
