It’s still cool but the sun is out
in BC. We are so lucky that in New
Westminster, we have a beautiful
board walk (Quay) along the Fraser
River. The city keeps different
blooming plants out during the whole
Spring/Summer season. Hundreds of
people were out for a walk on a
beautiful Easter Sunday, but few
were stopping to enjoy the beauty of
the flowers, close up.
Right now, the daffodils are
starting to die down, and the
violets are in full bloom (above).

In a few weeks, all of the tulips
will be in full bloom, but a few
early ones were already out (above).

In addition, the plum and cherry
blossoms are in their full glory.
Slow down and enjoy the colours of
Spring in your neighborhood!
