Many of you will remember from my
two July newsletters, that we were
traveling in Japan and Cambodia last
month. My travel goals include
adding new countries, experiences
and UNESCO World Heritage sites to
my travel opportunities. This trip
sure didn’t disappoint!
Riding a bullet train, experiencing
a Japanese Onsen (natural hot
springs), staying in a capsule hotel
were all on my list of things to
experience in Japan. In fact, we did
all of these in one day!

that need to be enjoyed and
experienced.

UNESCO Work Heritage sites are the
world’s way of saying these places
are worth seeing and preserving. We
were lucky enough to see so many of
them during our trip. In Kyoto there
are a number of UNESCO sites, and
one day we saw 3 of them.

Hiroshima was of course sobering.
|
|
Three days of exploring only 11 of
the 400+ temples in the Siem
Reap/Angkor Wat area was just
breathtaking. Each temple was unique
and beautiful, no matter what the
state of preservation/ restoration.

been having some morning trainings
across BC. We have met agents in
