I know all agents face a constant
challenge getting business,
especially when it is so easy for
clients to book “online”.
Sometimes, this is even the case for
family and friends.
I think agents have a lot of tools
to set themselves above the
"internet". Some
of the most successful travel agents
I know, seem to follow a tips that
seem to contribute to their success.

1. KNOW
YOUR BDMs/SALES REPs –
With all things being equal, some
agents tell me they will sell
product where they know and have a
good relationship with the local
BDM/Sales Rep. The Reps can come in
handy answering sales questions or
providing guidance in the event of
an emergency involving their
product.

2. AVAILABLE
IN EMERGENCIES –
If your client’s flight is cancelled
or they can’t travel at the last
minute, YOU are there to assist them
in sorting out the details.
3. TRAVEL
INSURANCE –
You are there for your clients to
explain and provide the appropriate
travel insurance for your clients,
to protect their vacation
investments.

Phase II of the Ventus
Ha’ at Marina El Cid opened
recently, now with almost 300
rooms. This doubles the number of
rooms at this property, that is
located behind the Hotel Marina El
Cid and the Ventus at Marina El
Cid. Both of the other properties
are beach front and the Ventus Ha’
is located in the mangroves, with
beautiful sunset views.

Phase II also adds a second
adults-only roof-top bar and
infinity pool at the Ventus Ha’ – Na
Ha.
Remember all guests at all 3
properties, have access to all 3
properties.
