I
realize we live in one of the milder
climates in Canada, but it truly
feels like Spring is already in the
air here in the Lower Mainland of
BC.
|

Even
though my father and grandparents
were from Ontario (Peterborough &
Keene), when I moved from
California, I knew BC was the place
for me. When I hear some of you say
it’s “sunny and clear” while it’s
-40°C in January, I’m genuinely glad
you’re happy there 😊 And I’m
certainly grateful that true
Canadian winters help keep the sun
travel business strong!

As
for me, I’ll take getting my feet
wet a little bit every day for
months on end. I’ll take the
occasional burst of sunshine, maybe
two or three days of snow, and life
in the Vancouver area where
everything shuts down on those rare
snow days because no one has snow
tires. I’ll take the early Spring
blossoms and that fresh, hopeful
feeling this time of year brings.

Winter. For travel between March 7 &
