Well, does anyone have mixed
feelings about the summer solstice
(June 21)? Of course, it does mean
that our short Canadian summer is
officially here! It also means that
days are officially getting shorter.

How long it is before clients start
thinking about their Winter sun
destination getaways? We are already
thinking about ours.
|
|
I am also enjoying my daily walks to
the New Westminster Quay when the
weather is nice. It is such a nice
public space in my city.
|
|
In addition to Air Canada flying to
Mazatlan this winter (starting Dec
15), both WestJet and Sunwing are
flying to Mazatlan during the summer
on Saturdays. WestJet is flying
weekly from Calgary and Sunwing is
flying weekly from Montreal.

I have a few openings on our
upcoming Riviera Maya FAM in late
August. You can find agent comments
from the same FAM from 2025 HERE.

This may be the perfect time for
good agents to acquaint/reacquaint
themselves with the brand and the
area. This will be a 4-night FAM at
the El Cid Resorts in the Riviera
Maya (Puerto Morelos.
Here are some additional details
about the FAM.
· Single
room occupancy!
· Some
free time to get to know the
properties and destination
· Only
12 agents on the FAM from Canada
· Agent
is responsible for flights and
airport transfers
· Agent
rates will be provided if agents
need to arrive before or stay after
the FAM
· $100
USD will be collected for tips for
group meals and excursions
· Escorted
by Dave Emery (Sales Manager,
Canada)
Please note that this FAM is ONLY
for full-time agents. It is a
working FAM, and as such, NO spouses
are allowed. Priority is given to
agents who have been selling and
supporting our properties.

been around for years and
provides a generous amount
of points that agents can
redeem for gift cards or
online shopping (Tim
Horton's, movie, Apple
products and MANY more.)
Note that this program works
for all 8 El Cid Resorts.
Note that bookings must be
made through any Tour
Operator such: Sunwing,
WestJet, etc. Bookings made
it through online companies
such: Expedia, Travelocity,
Hotels.com will not be
applicable to El Cid Rewards
points.
